ภาพบันทึกมุมมองแห่งวิถีของข้าวที่มีต่อวิถีของผู้คนในพื้นที่ต่าง ๆ ของประเทศไทย โดยการเรียงร้อยของภาพยนตร์สารคดีเรื่องนี้เปรียบประดุจท่วงทำนองของบทเพลงแห่งข้าว ที่ผู้คนแต่ละพื้นที่ช่วยกันประสานท่วงทำนอง แม้สำเนียงจะแตกต่างกัน แต่หัวใจของเสียงนั้นเป็นหนึ่งเดียวกัน ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้เป็นภาคสุดท้ายของ “ไตรภาคเรื่องข้าว” ต่อจาก Stories from the North และ Agrarian Utopia

This is a visual record of rice culture and its influences on people in different parts of Thailand. The lyrical structure of this documentary reflects the melodies in the songs of rice, crafted and composed by the diverse harmonies of people who may sing in different voices but share the same heart. The film is the final chapter of Raksasad's "Rice Trilogy," following Stories from the North and Agrarian Utopia.
